What is ThermWise?
ThermWise is a Questar Gas program developed to help our customers lower their gas bills through conservation.

How does ThermWise work?
The program includes public-education campaigns that promote conservation practices and  energy-efficient products. It also pays rebates to our customers who purchase qualified  products.

How do Questar Gas customers save money with ThermWise?
Two ways. First, customers install energy-efficiency measures and use less gas, which lowers their monthly bills. Second, we purchase less gas supply and the savings are passed  on to all customers in the form of lower rates.

Why does Questar Gas offer ThermWise programs?
Questar Gas can offer these programs because utility regulation changed in 2006. If we continue to operate efficiently, we are now able to collect our allowed revenue while encouraging customers to use gas wisely.

Is ThermWise here to stay?
Natural gas is the best energy value and we’re committed to conservation. We intend to continue offering ThermWise programs as long as they remain cost effective. Currently the program is scheduled to be reviewed in 2009.

What can I do today to conserve energy and save money?
